Cost of a Life Coach: Is it worth it for personal growth?

I often wonder if the question should be: "What is the cost of not having a coach?" Until I was coached myself, I'm not sure I would've been able to answer that question. It sounded cool and I liked the "idea" of being coached, but I'm not sure I really knew what it could do for me or if I could afford it.

Coaching definitely varies in price. Depending on the type of coaching, coach's expertise and reputation, the typical range of a personal life coach ranges anywhere from $75 to $250 per hour. The average cost is around $140 per hour.

Most of the time, one coaching session is not enough to reach your goals. Because of this, many coaches offer packages to reduce the overall cost per session. Some longer term options might be $500 for 4-60-minute sessions or $1000 for 8-60-minute sessions. Depending upon the intended goals, a coaching relationship may be short-term and last from three to six months, or long-term and last one to two years.

Typically, insurance does not cover the cost of life coaching. The issues addressed by a life coach are not considered to be mental health issues and therefore are not deemed as necessary care by most insurance companies. However, when you consider what you could be missing out on in your life, the cost seems pretty low to help you achieve any of the following:

⭐️ Improved version of yourself

⭐️ Achieve your biggest goals and dreams

⭐️ Increase self confidence

⭐️ Feel less stressed

⭐️ Feel happier and more fulfilled

⭐️ Improve performance at work

⭐️ Solve your challenges

⭐️ Better time management

⭐️ Improve health and well-being

⭐️ Resolve all those crazy things that keep you up at nite

⭐️ Figure out what you want to be when you grow up
