If your inner voice were a person, you probably would’ve unfriended her by now.
She’s the one whispering (or yelling) things like:
“You’ll never figure this out.”
“Everyone else has it together but you.”
“You’re too old/fat/lazy to change.”
"You don't deserve to be happy/financially stable/successful"

Sound familiar?
That’s negative self-talk, and it’s not just annoying—it’s toxic.
It chips away at your confidence, your motivation, and your ability to show up for yourself.
What Is Negative Self-Talk?
It’s that automatic, inner monologue that focuses on your flaws, doubts, and failures. It sounds like truth, but it’s actually fear in disguise. And if left unchecked, it becomes your default mindset.
🌟 We have 10,000+ thoughts a day.
🌟 About 80% of those thoughts are negative.
🌟 It takes 3–5 positive thoughts to neutralize just one negative one.
Isn't that crazy???
So if you’re feeling stuck, defeated, or like you’re spinning your wheels, check your inner dialogue. Your thoughts might be the heaviest thing you’re carrying.
Try This 7-Day Mindset Reset:
Keep a small notebook or Notes app handy.
When a negative thought pops up, write it down.
For every 1 negative thought, write 3 positive ones to replace it.
For example:
Negative: “I’ll never be consistent.”
Positive: “I’m learning. I’ve been consistent before. I don’t give up easily.”
Will it feel cheesy at first?
Yep.
Will it work if you stick with it?
Absolutely.
Because the more you practice replacing those thoughts, the less power your inner critic has. And that’s when things really start to shift.
You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to be kind to yourself. Over and over and over again.
Let’s rewire the way we speak to ourselves—and finally ditch our negative mindset for good.
